Important Dates
Head Coach Matt Davies is looking forward to seeing all
senior players for the start of Pre-Season on Friday July 3rd.
All players should meet at the clubhouse on Friday 3rd July
6.45 Players meet - Matt Davies will give an overview of plans for coming season
7.15 Training - a short sharp session to get the juices running!
8.15 Barbecue, Beer and Bonding!!! There will be a barbecue for all players plus
some beer and other isotonic refreshments.
Training will then continue every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the Summer.
The training schedule will be distributed on the website a week in advance so
all players should check in advance. We will be training at the Cow Patch as
well as the Abbey Fields (just to check that the hills are still as steep!!)
All players are welcome - existing and new..
Head Coach Matt Davies will be talking to existing Senior Players (1XV + 2XV)
over the next couple of weeks to discuss his and their plans and expectations
for season 2009/10.
Please could players confirm to either Dom Carrick or Colin Dick that they will
be there on 3rd July - (to confirm barbecue catering!!)

The Playing Management is currently working with fixture
secretary (and clubman of the year) Dean Stephenson to confirm a series of pre
season fixtures for the Senior Squad to prepare them for their assault on
National 3 Midlands.
The proposed dates are as follows.
Saturday 15th August
Saturday 22nd August - Away fixture and overnight stop
Thursday 27th August
First League fixture is Saturday 5th September at home to Luctonians
Training - Tuesdays & Thursdays - Meet at 19:00 at the
Clubhouse - All playing members are requested to attend if possible.
Weekly on Wednesday Nights - Touch Rugby and Football at the Cowpatch
Fee discount arrangement for
KRFC members and friends
with Brian Holt – Chartered Surveyors
KRFC have agreed a discount arrangement
with Brian Holt Estate agents through all their local branches in Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Coventry City Centre and Earlsdon. They also have a
newly launched Lettings and Management Department. As part of this scheme
members and friends will receive a 5% discount and our club will receive 5%
discount making a total of 10% discount on the standard fees that Brian Holt
charge. So this is a WIN/WIN for all!
You do not have to be a club member to benefit from this scheme – anyone can take advantage!
How it will work is that you invite the
local branch of Brian Holt Estate Agents to appraise your property and quote,
they will then agree their fees with you. If you choose to use their services
then you must make it clear AT THE TIME OF INSTRUCTIONS (please note that this
is most important) that you would like to participate in the Brian Holt/KRFC
Introductory Fee Share Scheme. Upon a successful exchange of contracts Brian
Holt Estate Agents will invoice you or your conveyancer/solicitor and upon
prompt payment of this account Brian Holt will then pass onto KRFC the full 10%
discount, KRFC will then refund to you your share of the fee being 5%.
Any unusual charges or additional expenses incurred will not be part of this
scheme. Some more generous club members may even decide to let the club keep
the entire 10% discount earned!
