Calling All I.T. Superstars
The club is looking for people to help in running the official club website. We are looking for someone who has an understanding of managing websites (pref. JOOMLA) who would be interested in volunteering to help with site administration and development going forward. We hope that this opportunity will appeal to someone studying IT at school, college or Uni for whom, managing a live site like this might help bolster a CV etc.
Who ever steps forward to help will not be thrown in at the deep end, more over we have a team of skilled volunteers who can support this role but who cannot commit to being the central manager due to other commitments.
So if you are keen to find out about how you can help the club and yourself at the same time please contact Jai Purewal on 01926 258076.

Kenilworth Mini & Junior Festival 2012
The Junior 10s festival which was a resounding success despite the bitterly cold conditions.
Sadly we had to cancel the Minis & Girls Tag Festival on the Sunday due to the horrendous weather conditions. I know many of you and the kids would have been disappointed to miss out on our Showcase event of the year. We even had teams from Blackburn down here, who were also massively disappointed at not being able to play. It has become a tradition over the past couple of years for Blackburn Juniors to join us but this was to be the first year that the mini section had also come.
All of the committee were saddened at having to cancel but we knew it was the right decision. But it is not an easy one after everyone's hard work and time spent organising the festival. Unfortunately not only did we lose money because of having to cancel the event but we also lost 2 gazebos and our lovely marquee in the awful winds. The marquee has been completely destroyed as you can see from the photos - thank goodness no-one was there at the time and nobody got hurt. The one thing that made us all smile Sunday morning was the the bar remained untouched!
