Kenilworth RFC is run by a band of wonderful volunteers from all the Committee members, to the coaches, the cafe team, safeguarding, grounds, maintenance, sponsorship etc.
Your club thrives when well supported by volunteers who help with all aspects of running it.
The Commercial Committee are seeking new members to help drive the club forward in this exciting period leading up to the club move in a few years time. Being part of very successful events like the sporting dinners ( Nigel Owens / Scott Quinnell / John Inverdale / Ian Robertson...... ) and the bi-annual Ladies Days is fun and very rewarding. A thriving club, with lots of different events catering for all members, means we need more volunteers to continue with the drive forward.
The Commercial Committee are therefore seeking motivated club people to:
- Come up with ideas ( great, yes! ) but also to take ownership of these ideas and run with / manage them with the support of other Committee members
- Attend a monthly meeting held at the Club on the last Wednesday of the month @ 6.30pm for 1 hour or so
- Help with ( amongst other things ) :
Fundraising ( 200 Club / RFU Raffle etc. ),
Planning and running events - Commercial or Social
Obtaining raffle / auction prizes for various lunches / dinners,
Generating enquiries for our function room,
We are also looking to set up a Social Committee to put on and run events like Quiz / Comedy / Racing / 80s nights - if you feel you have the organisational skills and bit of time to spare, please do get in contact with me.
It's fun and rewarding being part of this thriving club and we can do so much more with a bit more help. Plus it looks great on your CV !
We are a very friendly club who are dedicated to the recognition and welfare of our volunteer workforce. Without you, the club would not survive.
For all those who are already volunteering in whatever capacity - thank you! Please spread the word and ask them to get in touch with me or Peter for the Commercial / Social Committee or Serena for volunteering in other areas:
