John Huins, captain of Kenilworth RFC from 1960-61, died on 19th April, aged 86. He lived in Oswestry.
Ced Holbrook has commented that "he struggled with memory & recognition and it was such a shame as he was a great raconteur of Coventry & Kenilworth times past. I had the great pleasure & privilege of playing for a few games, while still at school, with John in his captaincy year. Gron Morgan was his scrum half. I think they both played for Swansea before coming to Coventry, and I am sure John was also a master at Bablake".
Funeral Service at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham on Friday, May 11 at 2.30pm.
Family flowers only, but donations if desired, to Dementia UK.
