About 1st XV

Since the end of last season a huge amount of work has been put in to restructure the senior coaching panel at the club. Richard Gibson has graduated from years of coaching the M&Js and more recently the successful Colts team, to be installed as Director of Rugby. Richard has the support of Player Coach and 1st XV Captain for the 2011/12 season, Jonny Creswell and a number of senior players (past and present).

A significant part of the senior playing restructure focusses attention on developing home grown talent. Last season a number of young players came through to 1st XV level with distinction, including Jack Gibson (above). That said the club always welcomes new players and we are delighted to see a number of new faces pushing for selection this year.
