KRFC NEWS FOR 24th APRIL 2020

  • We have done some much needed end of season renovation work on the main pitch to repair damaged and worn areas as well as reseeding in order to establish another good playing surface for the start of the new season, whenever that may be. The sprinklers are now in operation giving the surface some much needed water. We are aware some members are using the club pitches to exercise and they can of course continue to do so. However can you please keep off the main pitch and only use pitches 1 or 2 down at the Cowpatch (the two pitches nearest the Wardens). The renovation work on the Training Pitch will be completed in the next few days. At the point when the irrigator is in use watering the pitch, the pitch should not be used.
  • The Short Story competition closes in one week’s time (30th April) so there is still time to get your entry in to stories@kenilworthrugby.co.uk. To assist you Stav Williams has produced some tips and these can be seen HERE.
  • We are currently finalising a Quiz thanks to Jenny & Martin Stockbridge and we hope to launch this next week. Should be fun with prizes to be won!
  • Adam is still looking for your KRFC Dream Team selection before we begin the task of formulating the Dream Team. Some exciting ones already in! Info included HERE
  • We are also in discussions with a club member to sell bottles of (SanHanz) Hand Sanitiser through the club. We are currently finalising the detail for this and information be sent out next week.
  • The #KenFamily Emergency Fund appeal is still open! Info HERE

Stay safe and please observe the lockdown, wherever you are.
