Kenilworth Rugby Club

New Signing for Senior Men's Squad

Those of you who watched our fixture in May against Barkers Butts may have spotted a young fleet footed back three player, showing a great turn of pace coupled with the ability to step people in a phone box… welcome to #kenfamily Ben Harrison.

Ben, a back three player who can cover both Wing and Full-Back, comes to Kenilworth to begin his senior rugby career, having previously been at Bablake School.

Ben has represented Wasps Junior Academy, as well as Coventry RFC academy, and has been selected at both Warwickshire and Midlands U18s level.

Ben’s reason for joining Kenilworth is that he aspires to progress and play the highest level of rugby possible and sees Kenilworth as a great club to develop his skills and achieve his aims.

Backs Coach Todd Freemantle said of Ben, “I taught Ben at Bablake School and knew he would offer us some real pace and attacking potential. He is committed to developing as a player and works hard at training. Being around the squad we have at Kenilworth, with many players experiencing first-hand what it takes to play in the higher reaches of league rugby, Ben is in a great position to make the most of his talents and contribute to our on-field objectives.”
