  • Last weekend our 1st XV had a superb 39-7 win at Stafford in the third round of the Intermediate Cup, scoring seven tries with Charlie Stevens bagging three of them. The result confirmed the strength in depth we are accumulating with the side that played showing twelve different names to the side that defeated Southam in the league the previous week. The only other game played last week was our Colts who picked up a pool fixture away at Newbold, winning 36-0. Reports on both games will soon be on the web site.

  • This weekend (17th) the 1st XV have their toughest game to date when they take on the league leaders Kidderminster, away, 2.15 kick off.  They would very much like a big following support to cheer them on at  Marlpool Lane, Kidderminster, DY11 5HP, about 75 mins away. Our Colts are also playing on Saturday with a re-arranged game with Broadstreet, away
  • On Sunday (4th) there are two games. Our Men’s Second XV are away at Southam in the Warwickshire Second XV Shield, 1/4r final, 1.45 kick off and our Ladies are at Birmingham Moseley in a league game, hoping to back up their big win over Old Leamingtonians.
  • The reward for our Int Cup win at Stafford is a home game against Market Rasen & Louth. They currently play in Midlands 2 east north where they lie in second place with five wins from their seven games.  This is the last eight of the Midlands Division, the other ties being Barkers Butts v Olney, Camp Hill v Kidderminster and Old Laurentian v Lincoln. The winners of the Midlands Division will play the winners of the Northern Division for a place in the final at Twickenham.
  • Our Ladies have been drawn at home to Bletchley in their Int Cup and this is to be played on Sunday 16th Dec, 2pm.
  • On the 30th Nov our Pirates are making their season debut with a game under our lights against Leamington Vets, kick off 7pm. The following day (1st Dec) they are holding their annual Pirates Charity Lunch prior to our game with Leamington. The cost will be £20 and this will include a charitable donation. Dom is looking for table hosts so please e mail domcarrick@yahoo.co.uk if you wish to have a table or just an individual place.
  • Can I remind you that on Friday 16th November there is the funeral of George Carr, 1pm at Oakley Wood with the wake back at Kenilworth Rugby Club.
