Local financial planning practice Beauchamp Wealth, an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management, has agreed to be a shirt sponsor for Kenilworth Rugby Club this season.

The sponsorship comes about from the long-term relationship between Beauchamp Wealth directors Jason Marvelly and Alex Pearce and the club, which currently has had a positive start to the new Midlands 1 West season.

Beauchamp Wealth director Jason Marvelly said that he was delighted to support the club, which has had a connection with his family for many years.

“I first started playing for the club when I was five years old and continued through all of the minis and junior age groups, colts and eventually the first team. My brother did the same and my father, Roger, coached the minis, juniors and the colts and was chairman for a few years in the 1990’s. It is these family values and trusted long-term relationships that very much reflect our own ethos and the service we offer to our clients.

“It’s been fantastic to be able to watch the first team games at Glasshouse Lane this season and to see so many spectators enjoying live rugby after being unable to do so due to the pandemic.

“The success of the first team is important, but it is every individual at the club, from a seven-year-old mini to a fifty-year-old Pirate, the volunteers and members, that really makes the club what it is. It is the way the club puts every single one of its members and their individual circumstances and aspirations at the heart of everything it does that we admire most.”

Kenilworth Rugby Club, Director of Rugby added, “Kenilworth Rugby Club is about more than the game, it’s a family where everyone plays their part, be it on the pitch, volunteering, sponsoring or supporting from the side- lines. On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Jason and Alex for their ongoing support and am delighted to see an extension of the Marvelly’s long association with the club.”
