In pretty grim conditions our men's 1XV scored over 50 second half points to beat Sutton Coldfield 76-21. The home side battled well to score three tries in the first half and we looked a bit disjointed. However our superior fitness and strong ball carrying options across a number of positions resulted in a very comprehensive victory.
Even better news came through from Loxley Road in Stratford when we saw that last week's opponents had beaten league leaders Lichfield 15-13. We now trail then by just a point and look forward to travelling to Lichfield at the end of January.
