We’re hugely excited to announce that Harry O’Brien has re-signed for Kenilworth for the remainder of the 21/22 season and beyond.
Having come through the ranks at Kenilworth as a mini-and junior and represented the club all the way up to 1st XV level, Harry then left the club in 2017 for Birmingham and Solihull, most recently appearing for Birmingham Moseley RFC in National League 1, where he has been for the last 2 years.
Speaking on his return to the #kenfamily, Harry commented:
“It’s fantastic to be back and I’m really excited. My opportunities were becoming limited at Birmingham Moseley, and all I ever want to do is play. When the opportunity arose to come back to Kenilworth, I assessed my other options, but given recent achievements at the club and after speaking with Phil Boulton, the ambition is clear and very exciting - I just can’t wait to pull the blue and gold shirt on again… if selected, of course!”
Jai Purewal, Kenilworth’s Director of Rugby:
“Attracting Harry back from National 1 is testament to all the hard work being put in by the players, coaches and management, with the support of the club committee. We were fully behind Harry when he left the club to pursue higher level rugby, and are delighted he is now back and can share all he has learnt with the rest of our squad. We talk about #kenfamily;  today, it just got a bit stronger - It’s great to have him back!”
