Since launching the ‘Build the Castle’ campaign in 2020, Kenilworth RFC volunteers and supporters have been working tirelessly to turn dreams into reality and support the delivery of a purpose built, new ground for club members to enjoy for years to come. At that time, the call to arms was to anyone who might be able to step-up and help us with the ambitious task of delivering this project; since then, numerous skilled individuals have donated their time and energy, for which we are eternally grateful.
Last autumn, the club confirmed the Conditional Contract for the sale of the Jack Davies Memorial Ground and the Cow Patch to Bloor Homes, and now, once again we are reaching out to the #kenfamily (club members and supporters) to offer you the opportunity to help ‘Build the Castle’.
Working with our appointed Employers Agent, the Club will shortly go out to tender for the main build project, and in readiness of having appointed the main contractor, is inviting expressions of interest from contractors and suppliers interested in becoming a supply chain partner to the main contractor.
The process will be managed by the clubs appointed Employers Agents, with partners selected wholly by the main contractor preferred bidder on the basis of value for money and capability. (The Club cannot guarantee, nor endorse any potential partner within the process which is being managed on its behalf, nor is it in a position to provide feedback).
