Not even the game being frozen off could dampen the spirits of our guests from AJA Architects on Saturday. The clubhouse was full with those warming themselves by the real- fire and sharing a story or two of past glories, on or off the field.
AJA Architects are long- term sponsors of Kenilworth RFC and have been ever-present as the club has moved back up through the leagues.
‘We are so grateful to Simon and everyone at AJA; the club relies heavily on our corporate supporters and AJA are up there with the best of them. It’s great to meet more of the AJA family and welcome them into ours. It is always a shame when the game is frozen off, but fair-play they took it in their stride and made it a great day,’ said Kenilworth RFC President Dominic Carrick.
AJA Architects have provided architectural and development consultancy services from their offices in Coventry since 1979, combining demonstrable experience with a fresh, innovative approach to each project, in order to create optimum solutions for their clients.
AJA Architects, joint senior partner Simon Poole said,
‘It was a shame about the game but it’s always a great atmosphere at Kenilworth RFC; our guests have enjoyed a good meal, and have taken the opportunity to network with Clients, fellow consultants and good friends. Thank you to Johnny (Marsh) and Dom (Carrick) for hosting us.
Attending the lunch was former AJA Senior Partner and Kenilworth RFC member, Mike Blakeman. Mike took the opportunity to address the lunch on the subject of the recent passing of rugby legend, David Duckham. Mike spoke passionately about the sad loss of his close friend. Who was also known to AJA and the rugby club.
