The World Cup final team of officials has been announced with Wayne Barnes as referee. He is joined by ex Premiership scrum half Karl Dickson who is in fact a former Kenilworth player.
He played (at scrum half) four times for the first XV in the 02/03 season and during the 02/03 and 03/04 seasons he played regularly for the second XV, scoring three tries.
He moved onto Lichfield then joined Bedford Blues from 2004-08. He then moved to Harlequins until 2017. He was called into the England squad for a tour of South Africa and played in a mid week game against the South African Barbarians in 2012. He never gained a full cap, although his brother Lee did.
He took up refereeing in 2014 and quickly rose through the ranks taking on his first international in Oct 2020.
At the current World Cup he has taken charge of a number of high profile games, as well as running touch.
Don't forget there will be live music from Hannah Woof in the clubhouse after the Women's match v Barnsley and ahead of the World Cup Final
