Sam Herrington Appointed Player Coach for Kenilworth Men

Ahead of the 2023/24 season, we have been working hard to confirm our senior coaching team across men, women and colts.

Joining the senior men’s coaching team is giant lock Sam Herrington. Other than his sheer size, Sam brings a wealth of experience having played national league rugby for much of his career, and will continue his personal development as player/ coach at Kenilworth RFC.

On Sam’s appointment, club director of rugby Jai Purewal said,

‘We have been close to Sam for a while now and I am delighted he has come to us. Sam will add significantly to what we are about on and off the pitch.’

Herrington joins Todd Freemantle, both player coaches, and we will soon be announcing our new, men’s head coach.
